The interface is only
the beginning.

Kids Call Home shows the practical scope of shipping a product across devices: user experience, connected systems, distribution and ongoing operation.

The product challenge

A simpler way for children to reach family.

Children need straightforward contact with approved adults. Parents need control over relationships and setup. The two experiences must work together across different devices.

The approach

Keep the calling experience focused. Separate adult setup and contact approval. Connect the interface to identity, messaging, notifications and subscription systems.

What shipping this involves

01

Application layer

React and TypeScript interfaces, with Capacitor-based mobile delivery and a separate desktop application.

02

Service layer

Backend systems, approved family relationships, real-time calling and billing integrations. Supabase and Stripe are part of the implementation.

03

Distribution layer

Published iOS and Android applications, browser access, and Amazon Fire and Windows distribution documented by the product.

The shipped result

A live product, public store listings and an ongoing release history. These demonstrate delivery; no unverified user counts, financial results or client endorsements are included.
